Emma's Very British Adventure

Aha! Finally I have a new laptop - which means blog updating! At last!

So I'm all sad and back to writing from the computer centre. I wish I still had internet in my room! Plus Jake is ignoring me because he's doing something called a degree? I don't know why that's more important than me!

Absolute Harmony is still cool! This is the best year of the society yet - I think. I love being President (ooh the power!).

I don't think there's much else to say except I've got the mid term blues. Write soon.

My floor has a suspicious stain on it. It was there when I got here, and it made me sad until I bought a rug to cover it up. But the room check people are coming this week and I don't want them to steal it, so I've had to take it up. My room is sad without the cushions and rug, and blanket. It is my experience from room check people, however, that they are mean, horrible bureaucrats who don't care if you're asleep, or if you're not feeling well, they simply tell you to get up and get dressed... sorry did I say tell - I meant 'bark'... and then proceed to insult your cleanliness. I'm no Martha Stewart here, but COME ON! My room is always spic and span, and I like to make it my own. I will not, however clean that rancid shower plug hole. Now; where did Jake go?
Anyway, yes, Francesca is coming to stay, woohoo! By, then my room should be back to normal, and the horrid stain will be covered up again! Perhaps, however, I should not have told the Queen of Clean - a woman, who perhaps, may be Martha Stewart in disguise!
Now anyone who is clever enough to have checked Francesca's blog also, will notice this blog is just like the comment I left for her. However, I thought it was quite an amusing blog, and so I couldn't let the Francesca one keep it all for herself! So, here's to living in halls!

Wow - Becky's party was cool! I would just like to add that I was very ill at this party, so I was dragged kind of by Jake. Anyway - this is the kind of madness that happened there!
